You want options to help you prepare for HR Certification. We have them!
When companies are looking to hire someone for an HR position, they are looking at experience, education, HR certification and fit. Surprisingly, less than 15% of HR professional are certified. With that being said, certification is one way to set yourself apart from the crowd.
Additionally, not everyone who takes a certification exam passes. In fact, the pass rate is between 50%-70%. However, the fact that someone is taking the time to ensure that they are up on the HR body of knowledge is a professional step in the right direction.

Why the Update?
SHRM updated the content of the exam in December of 2021 and this course structure reflects that update. Additionally after several cycles of providing the "HR Content Sessions Live via Zoom" I have discovered that it is difficult to have active engagement. Thus, the HR Content is available for you with 6 20-30 minute presentations along with PPTs and quiz questions. I have also selected a book that will go along with our HR content presentations that should further reinforce the material presented.
I have been teaching HR Certification Prep Courses for about 30 years now and this format since 2018. Since 2018 I have worked with close to 250 HR professionals from around the country and have a 89%+ pass rate for those who take their HR Certification Exam. This new structure will allow you the flexibility to go over the material at your own pace and will allow more time for study sessions (I have added 6 hours on to the course.)
*Cost is for the Webinar and materials, contact SHRM or HRCI for more information about exam application and registration fees, along with your exam eligibility.

“I thoroughly enjoyed his class. Having over 8 years of experience in HR but learning from on-the-job this class provided me with a lot of the technical names, laws and language of HR. The way he presented with personal stories and examples provided me with real examples and not just reading form a book. It also prepared me I believe and will soon find out for the PHR test. I was surprised that he encouraged the entire class to connect with him on LinkedIn and email him with questions as we prepared for the PHR test. In any event I don’t normally write about professors or trainers but I was impressed with him.”
“I took the aPHR exam last Friday, May 11th and I think you’ll be happy to hear that you can add me onto your 92% pass rating! Along with that I got a volunteer HR coordinator internship through the mentor that you provided! Thank you for everything you’ve done to help get me where I needed to be for post graduation and everything you do for UC students. p.s. you are the raddest professor ever!”
